Bikers united for an end to Domestic Violence

Dear Friend,
Once again, we are gearing up for the Annual Kacie's Ride for Hope motorcycle run to raise money for Victims of Domestic Violence in El Dorado County.
Last year, as a result of donations made by generous people like you, we were able to donate $7,525.00 to "The Center for Violence-free Relationships" (formerly "The El Dorado Women's Center) in Kacie's memory! With your help, we can reach our goal to increase that amount for 2008.
Kacie lost her life on July 26, 2006 as a result of Domestic Violence. She was a strong supporter of "The Center" and going on motorcycle rides was one of her favorite past times. In her memory, Kacie's Ride for Hope was established in 2006 with a ride from Placerville to her favorite spot, Hope Valley in Alpine County.
We wish to continue to honor Kacie's memory by continuing to provide support for victims in crisis and spread awareness to help end domestic violence. We are currently soliciting donations to help support this cause.
We are soliciting cash donations as well as food, supplies, and raffle prizes for the event.

All proceeds generated from ticket sales and raffle prizes, as well as cash donations will be donated to "The Center for Violence-Free Relationships", formerly "The El Dorado Women's Center".
Whether you have donated in the past, or this will be the first time for you to support this cause, please accept our heartfelt thanks. We will never be able to bring Kacie back, but with everyone's support, our hope is to be able to make a difference in someone else's life.
